With the summer under way (ever optimistic), thoughts turn to garden parties, weddings, birthdays and other celebrations outdoors. But what if it threatens to rain?

The Parish Plan committee has the answer: you can hire the Village Marquees, which are easy and quick to erect, robust and very reasonably priced compared with the cost of commercial hire.

Both marquees measure 10 ft square and can be joined up to make a 20 ft x 10 ft space. They are the ‘pop up’ design, take minutes to erect and have guy ropes if windy. They come in their own zip-up container and will fit in an estate car or hatchback.
