Little Hadham Village Hall, Thursday June 22
Many Attended

Many residents of Little Hadham and representatives from the County and District Council, Police, School and Church attended the launch of their community’s Parish Plan, the result of three years of hard work and planning.

Highlights of the plan include a Village Centre, the re-equipping of the village’s two playgrounds, and a series of community events including a summer fete this September.

Mike FairchildMike Fairchild, Chairman of the Little Hadham Parish Plan Steering Group presented the launch in his own characteristic style.  The secrets of the ‘Little Hadham Safari’ were revealed as well as plans for a Guide to the village for newcomers and visitors. The Parish Plan include a campaign for a Little Hadham by-pass.

Youngsters will get a bigger say through their own Youth Council.

In the interval Little Hadham residents were invited to roll-up their sleeves and get involved with this website as part of a plan for better communication.

Summaries of the Parish Plan were distributed and will be made available as a download on this website very soon.
