Herts County Council Highways and Transportation Panel will consider a report on a possible Little Hadham bypass at its meeting at 10:00 pm on Monday 13th November 2006.  The meeting is in the Ashbourne Room, County Hall Hertford - anyone can attend although members of the public will not be allowed to speak.

The report includes a number of possible routes.  If the Panel accepts the report, it will go out for public consultation next year.  At the moment the government has not agreed to fund a bypass though the County Council hope that they will eventually be persuaded.  If funding is found the earliest the bypass could open is 2016.

The report below details the possible options for a local bypass to Little Hadham agreed at the Highways and Transport Panel - 6 July 2006.  These options and some historical routes previously considered in 1978 have now been updated and considered against local environmental constraints.
