Alistair will be showing for the second time at the show which is recognised globally as the largest annual flower show. Speaking about the garden Alistair said that ‘the garden is aimed at highlighting the importance front gardens have in contributing to storm water management and biodiversity.

Recent reports from the RHS and RSPB identify that urban front gardens are being lost to paving in order to provide extra parking. 23 Paved Green Terrace identifies a solution to the problem, providing a sustainable ‘designed’ space, which considers the importance of habitat creation and
reducing environmental impacts.’

After his Silver medal success at the 2004 RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show, and Bronze medal at the 2006 RHS Chelsea Flower Show Alistair is delighted to be exhibiting at Hampton Court again. ‘I am grateful for the huge support of suppliers, who have provided products for use on the stand. Equally I am appreciative for the sponsorship and support provided by Breeze and Wyles without which this would not have been possible.’

Alistair works for Stansted Mountfitchet based Chartered Landscape Architects and Urban Designers LiZ LaKe www.lizlake.com where he is currently working towards Chartership.

Since graduating from Writtle College, Chelmsford, Essex in 2004 with a First Class BSc (Hons) Degree in Landscape and Garden Design, the former Bishop’s Stortford High School student has graduated with a Post Graduate Diploma in Landscape Architecture at the University of Greenwich in 2006 and is an Associate of the Landscape Institute.

The RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show opens to RHS Members on 3 and 4 July 2007 and the General Public from 5 to 8 July 2007. ’23 Paved Green Terrace’ will be located at site number D18.
