I used to live at Hadham Hall School in East Cottage from 1970 to 1974 as my father was assistant caretaker and my mother did the laundery for the broaders.
My surname then was cardall and I married Richard Fountain in 1974, both my mother, mother-in-law and myself used to take part in the pantomine's and WI.
I do try to come back once a year and I was very Disappointed to see they had sold Hadham Hall and made it into a Housing Estate, to me they have lost the history that was attach to it.
