Although I had not intended to add another entry, considering the date of my first entry some of you may think that Sheena’s headstone would by now be in place … not so
Although permission was granted for the black headstone, the finer details of finishes was not accurate and Ken and Wendy re-visited their decision for the plaque in light of views passed on to them. This basically resulted in a very protracted course of events until the final permission was given last night and I can only thank those who supported and helped us.
I truly hope that those who may oppose Black Granite in Perry Green Cemetery may find it in their hearts to respect this families wish to mark Sheena’s life in the way they feel suited her, and to allow them some measure of closure.
